Alva - Sámi Human Rights association 

 

The main purpose of the Alva - Sámi Human Rights ry. association is to promote the self-determination and right to equality for the Sámi.

 

Alva was founded on the summer of 2018. The purpose of the association is also to safeguard the right of the Sámi to maintain, develop and promote their own culture, and to support and promote the Sámi cultural, linguistic, social, legal general economic efforts to co-operate across national borders.

 

In addition, the purpose of the association is to promote and revitalization of the Sámi language, Sámi culture and Sámi traditions.
